Economic Development is a Team Sport: Great Investors Make Us Strong

December 12, 2014

When we work together we make a difference.  Thanks to all our New Vision investors.  We are pleased to give a shout out to Amtech, Yakima Heart Center and Bleyhl Farm Service this month.

alt textAmtech is a local plastics and composites manufacturer.  The company makes products for the military, specialized cargo trailers and components for trains, buses, lift booms and recreational vehicles (to name just a few product lines).  Amtech has experienced steady growth since expanding to Wapato in 2001 (going from 10 to 275 employees!) and we are delighted that they are thriving in the Yakima Valley.

alt textYakima Heart Center was the first and only cardiac practice in Yakima in the early 60”s and quickly became the pioneer of advanced cardiovascular care in the Central Washington.   The Heart Center is nationally recognized and accredited as a world class service provider – which is especially noteworthy in our rural farm based community.  New Vision is proud of the Heart Center’s outstanding track record and the contributions they have made towards improving health in the Yakima region.

alt textBleyhl Farm Service is your local farm cooperative that offers farmers in Central Washington everything from fertilizer and chemicals, to fuel and lube oil.  Bleyhl has grown to become a major supplier of hardware and trellising supplies for the orchard and vineyard industries.  In addition, the company's irrigation department offers custom water system designs.   Even homeowners can enjoy Bleyhl’s customer service by stopping in at one of its five lower valley stores.
