TOOL KIT - Impact Washington Helps Companies Grow

TOOL KIT - Impact Washington Helps Companies Grow

July 10, 2014

A great resource for manufacturers in Yakima County and Washington State is Impact Washington. They are a one-stop shop focused on helping manufacturers modernize their operations.

We routinely refer local companies to Impact Washington for help with lean manufacturing consulting, workforce training and other in-depth assistance.  Impact Washington offers an array of consulting services at affordable rates - their staff also take extra steps to ensure companies get a good bang for their buck when implementing improvement projects.  The professionals at Impact Washington have vast backgrounds and specialties in numerous industries which allows them to address a full spectrum of business needs.

We are seeing local companies take advantage of their expertise in projects involving continuous process improvement, safety, food processing, sustainable (green) manufacturing, exporting, leadership and workforce development.   Impact Washington has a proven track record throughout the valley with companies like Tree Top, Yakima Chief, CubCrafters and Underwood Fruit, to name a few.  Sometimes the plan will be as straight forward as adopting Lean or sustainable manufacturing techniques, or it may be to create better marketing or to offer team training.  But most often it’s doing these things in the right combination that creates the most impact and longstanding progress.  Over the course of the project the Impact Washington experts are available and supportive and companies enjoy the benefits and value of their assistance and expertise.

They also offer manufacturers of Washington made products an opportunity to be included in the Made In Washington directory.  The registration is free and simple and provides promotional opportunities through their website.
