Yakima County is 4,296 square miles making it the second largest county in Washington State. Three entities own over 1.7 million of the 2.75 million acres in the County. Interstate-82 runs through the heart of the Yakima Valley connecting to I-90 to the north and I-84 to the south making Seattle, Spokane, and Portland all within three hours drive.
