Key Industry Videos Showcase Yakima County’s Strengths

New Vision, the Yakima County Development Association has announced their completion of four new video segments highlighting Yakima County’s key industries. According to Blueprint Yakima Valley, an economic study completed last year, Yakima County is especially well suited for the following industries:  Logistics and Distribution; Food Processing; Industrial Machinery and Supplies; Business and Professional Services; Health and Medical Industry; and Aerospace.

 
Videos of the first four sectors are completed and ready for viewing at www.ycda.com. The new video segments profile how Yakima County’s natural assets help businesses in these industries thrive. The region’s probusiness climate and energetic workforce are also profiled within the segments. According to New Vision business development director Lisa Smith, “We have many innovative companies within the region that are profiled within these new film clips. It is interesting to see how Yakima County’s business climate has nurtured these firms and helped them succeed.”
